Without a doubt the most important “asset” we have is the compassionate, professional, experienced and friendly staff that we employ.
The health care assistants (HCA’s) are ably supported and supervised by our team of dedicated managers who prepare and update care plans and attend all reviews Everyone is fully trained and certified in moving and handling, health and safety, safeguarding, basic food hygiene, first aid, fire risk and infection control. Our more senior staff are also trained in catheter care, wound care, stoma care and dementia. We encourage all staff to qualify for a diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Our management team also hold specific other qualifications.
Ivory Homecare has contracts with various Social Services departments and local Health Authorities as well as “direct payment” and private service users who fund their own care. We also work with local hospices.
